Maha Kumbh 2025: A Stunning Drone Show Illuminates the Tale of ‘Samudra Manthan’

Organized by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, the grand drone show was being held from January 24 to 26 in the iconic Sangam area. The event coincides with National Tourism Day and exemplifies a harmonious blend of tradition and technology, according to a statement by the UP government.
UP’s Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh highlighted the significance of the drone show, stating, “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Mahakumbh Nagar area has been transformed into a world-class pilgrimage site. The drone show exemplifies the union of Indian culture and spirituality with advanced technology by depicting the story of ‘Samudra Manthan’ and the origin of Maha Kumbh.”
The dazzling drone show has become the centerpiece of the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, mesmerizing spectators with colorful formations and religious symbols created by synchronized drones. Attendees described the display as a perfect blend of spirituality and innovation, leaving an indelible mark on their Maha Kumbh experience.
